This study focuses on neem (Azadirachta indica), tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), turmeric (Curcuma longa), ginger (Zingiber officinale), black pepper (Piper nigrum), curry leaves (Murraya koenigii), and pineapple (Ananas comosus) were selected for preparing sugar free tonsilitis syrup. The first step is the extraction of bioactive compounds was achieved using Soxhlet and ultrasonication methods, followed by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for compound identification and quantification.
